Stage 1 of the #Dakar2026 kicked off on a hostile, extremely rocky terrain, pushing machine reliability to the limit from the very first kilometer. 
The Maxxis Rally Raid riders delivered a strong performance with an impressive P3. With no mechanical issues and a flawless pace, this result highlights the outstanding work of our technical team and the mastery of reigning champions @nicocavi68 & @valepertegarini alongside the @verticalmotorsport Team. 
The rest of the crews also delivered a solid performance. We followed the action closely at the pit stop and successfully overcame the feared 180 km of pure rock. A perfect start to the race!

La Etapa 1 del Dakar 2026 comenzó sobre un terreno hostil y extremadamente rocoso, llevando la fiabilidad de las máquinas al límite desde el primer kilómetro.
Los pilotos de Maxxis Rally Raid demostraron su solidez con un espectacular P3. Sin averías y con un ritmo impecable, este resultado ratifica el excelente trabajo de nuestro equipo técnico y la maestría de los campeones vigentes Nicolás Cavigliasso y Valentina Pertegarini, junto al Vertical Motorsport Team. 
El resto de las tripulaciones mantuvo un gran desempeño: seguimos de cerca la acción en el pit stop y superamos con éxito los temidos 180 km de pura piedra. ¡Un inicio de carrera inmejorable!
